  Between the Period from Nov.2010 to .... 2011, IIACSS conducted the first Retail Census in Iraq over 300 full and part time staff participated in this huge research effort.

     Geographic coverage:

       • Level of coverage, all main center cities across the 18 governorates representative of  
           71.5% of total urban Iraq population and 47.5%of total Urban /Rural . 

      • Covered 20 cities divided into districts ,sub-districts and Machala's as by official
          administrative divisions.

  • 100% enumeration of outlets located in areas accessible to the general public .
  • universities,airports,seaports,govermental institutions ,green zones e.g. were not covered .Outlets located in restricted areas controlled by the military , military and police camps ,hospitals
